How to get there

The closest airports are the San Francisco International Airport (SFO) and the Mineta San Jose International Airport (SJC).

See below the main locations relevant to the course: Parking Structure 5 (if you are driving), and the different bus stops (if you are taking the Marguerite shuttle).


If you are driving

Detailed directions for driving to the Li Ka Shing Center are available here.

You will park in Parking Structure 5, and have a 5-7 minutes walk to the venue (see map below). We will provide daily visitor parking permits, which we will mail 2-weeks in advance of the event. You will have to park in the "Event Parking" which is only available on the top floor of the parking structure, and is marked by an "E" letter.


If you take public transportation and the free Marguerite shuttle

Stanford provides the free Marguerite shuttle to get around the campus. You will likely use the Santa Clara public transportation (VTA) to get to the Palo Alto Transit Center, and from there you may take several Marguerite shuttles that will get you to the course location (see below the detailed maps).

From the Palo Alto Transit Center, you may take Bus X to get you to the course location. Here is the schedule and map for Bus X. You need to get off at Roth Way @ Quarry Extension (at the Stanford hospital), and then walk to the course location.
