The Protégé Training & Support Program provides opportunities for close interaction and
collaboration between Protégé users and the research scientists and software developers that make
up the Protégé staff.

Short Courses
Short courses provide opportunities for attendees to receive intensive training on various aspects of the
Protégé system. We currently offer two short courses:

Protégé Short Course
A comprehensive 4-day course on building ontologies, knowledge bases, and applications using
Protégé (covers both frame-based and OWL ontologies).

Protégé-OWL Short Course
An intensive 2-day introduction to developing OWL ontologies and Semantic Web applications using
Protégé-OWL.
Protégé Affiliate (fee: $15,000/year)
Becoming a Protégé affiliate combines the benefits of consulting with several additional items:
- 40 hours consulting
- Free admittance of two persons to the annual Protégé Conference
- Complimentary Protégé logo coffee mug and t-shirt
- Recognition in the Protégé application's About Box and in the
About Us section of the Protégé Web Site
