The closest airports are the San Francisco International Airport (SFO) and the Mineta San Jose International Airport (SJC).

If you are driving

You can find driving instructions to 1070 Arastradero here, or use Google Maps to plan your trip. Parking is free at the Arastradero campus.

If you take public transportation and the free Marguerite shuttle

Stanford provides the free Marguerite shuttle to get around the campus. You can take line 1050 to get you to the course location. You will likely board line 1050 at the intersection of California Ave & Yale St, which is close to several accommodation options. If your hotel is not in walking distance from this bus stop, you can use the Santa Clara public transportation (VTA) or Caltrain (California Ave station), followed by a 10 minutes walk, to get to a 1050 line stop.

You will find the best hotel rates on the specialized travel sites, such as hotels.com, booking.com, and others.

If you are not planning to drive, we recommend to find accommodation close to the intersection of California Ave and El Camino Real, so that you can have easy access to the free Marguerite shuttle line 1050 (see instructions above).

You will be responsible for arranging your own accommodation and transportation.

You may use the free Marguerite shuttle to get to the venue and to visit the campus. You may also use the Santa Clara public transportation (VTA). Also, you may consider using Uber or Lyft, which are very popular around the area.

There are many fun and interesting things you can do on the Stanford campus. For example, you may take a self-guided or a 1-hour guided tour of the campus, get a panoramic view of the area at the Hoover Tower, visit the Cantor Arts Museum, and many more!
